Partnering with New Mexico Communities to provide quality, sustainable school facilities for our students and educators
The Public School Capital Outlay Council (PSCOC) updated the statewide Adequacy Standards this year. These standards establish the minimum educational space and equipment needs for every public school in New Mexico. As staff to the PSCOC, PSFA conducted its own research and gathered input from school communities around New Mexico to ensure the changes are relevant and effective. The changes made this year may impact the size of important spaces in all public schools, including general education classrooms, libraries, special education spaces, gyms, and more.
