New Mexico Public School Energy Efficiency Program Support
School districts should include a long-range Energy Conservation and Management Plan as part of their Facilities Master Plan with a clear and concise statement of energy and water use and conservation goals. The State of New Mexico requires public utility companies to offer energy and water conservation services to their customers. Many programs are specifically intended to help public schools save energy and money at little to no cost to the district.
