The Public School Facilities Authority (PSFA), administrative staff to the Public School Capital Outlay Council (PSCOC), is updating the statewide Adequacy Standards this year. These standards establish the minimum educational space and equipment needs for every public school in New Mexico. We need input from each school community to ensure the changes are relevant and effective. The changes that are made this year may impact the size of important spaces in all public schools, including general education classrooms, libraries, special education spaces, gyms, and more.
Please participate in this short survey. As owners and users of the school facilities, you are best suited to assist us as we revise the Adequacy Standards. Once the results of the survey are received, they will be tallied and reviewed by the PSCOC, with public hearings before the Adequacy Standards are reissued.
